Asolo is a beautiful medieval town, mid-way between Venice(1h and 20 minutes) and the Alps. It is a magic mix of peace, art and beauty. This is why a lot of important people such as Yoko Ono, Stravinsky and Hemingway fell in love with the village. Asolo is also close to the beautiful rolling hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene where you will discover one of the most known sparkling white wine called “Prosecco”.
Close to Asolo we will reach Villa Barbaro, which is one of the greatest masterpieces of Andrea Palladio (1508-80), and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Villa BARBARO is located in the middle of a flourishing estate whose historic winery produces wines of great quality. The visit continues inside with the six rooms with frescoes by Paolo Veronese and stuccoes by Alessandro Vittoria. To complete the visit, we invite you to see the carriage collection which contains some thirty exhibits of forms of transport from past centuries.
