Spending one day in the little medieval gems of the Veneto region can be full of surprise such as Marostica and its beautiful castle where the famous living game of chess is played every September in even-numbered years an Bassano del Grappa and its bridge designed by Palladio, but it can be the occasion to see one of the most important distilleries in Italy.
After lunch in a typical “trattoria” (traditional local restaurant), we will start the Grappa tour in an old building located next to the distillery (grappa museum)admiring a collection of about 1500 historic bottles of Grappa coming from about 400 distilleries.
Together we will taste 5-6 different flavoured grappas.
The Grappa Tour includes: transportation from Padua train station(or any other place on request), coffee, lunch, a personal wine guide all day long and drop off in Padua, tickets to the Grappa museum.
09:30 - Departure from Padova train station (or any other location on request).
10:30 - Arrival in Bassano del grappa
11:15 - Stop at the Grappa Shop on the Palladian bridge
12:30 - Lunch in a typical “trattoria”(traditional local restaurant)
14:00 - Arrival in Marostica and visit
If you want we can stop at the fruit farm where you can find a large selection of organic fruit and vegetables.
15:00 - Grappa Museum and grappa tasting
16:00 - Departures for Padova train station (or any other place on request)

Transportation from your location to Padua is not included.
