At the end of the XV century, the Grand Canal was defined “the most beautiful street in the world”… with the exception that it is paved with water! Venice was built to be enjoyed from the water so a private boat will gentle take you along the Canal, lined with more than 170 historical buildings whispering the stories and gossips of the one-thousand-year-old Most Serene Republic of Venice. More secluded waterways and alleys will be discovered by boat and then on foot to reach a typical “Bacaro” (informal local restaurant) and enjoy a traditional meal with fresh ingredients from the area together with a selection of typical wines of the Veneto region and Italy. Experience the Grand Canal as merchants and aristocrats used to do and then relax tasting their typical cuisine and wines presented by our local staff.
